pi-jev v0.6.0 expands typed decisions and endpoint controls for Pi

On 24 September 2026, Theo Oliveira released pi-jev v0.6.0, an MIT-licensed extension for the Pi coding agent. It is an integration, not a new decision model: jev_find_tools searches inactive tools, jev_find_skill ranks relevant skills, and jev_evaluate exposes Choice, Noul, and Score decisions through the Jev API.

Version 0.6.0 adds custom Jev-compatible endpoints through PI_JEV_BASE_URL or TYPESAFE_BASE_URL, including unauthenticated local servers such as Laya’s laya-serve. It also adds endpoint information to /jev status, URL-aware model routing for OpenCode Zen, and fixes for packaged pi-jev-gate usage, token accounting, and independent auto-mode / orchestration switches.

The release is useful as an adoption signal: System One models are becoming plumbing inside coding-agent harnesses, not just standalone classification APIs. It does not change the model catalog by itself.
