On 29 September 2026, the startlux-models org published StartLux-Decision weights in five sizes (0.8B, 2B, 4B, 9B, 27B) and GGUF builds the same afternoon. A sixth size, the 35B-A3B mixture of experts (~3B active per token), followed on 1 October. Each card includes a startlux_decision server that speaks TypeSafe POST /v1/systemone for choice / noul / score, so Jev clients work unchanged.

Non-commercial only. The weights are CC BY-NC-4.0. Research and other non-commercial use is free with attribution; commercial use needs a separate license from StartLux Labs. The Apache-2.0 inference code doesn’t change that.

Headline claims (UnverifiedClaim). The 27B card reports Decision Index 0.2.1 63.88, JevBench public 208/231 and an Intern-Decision average of 91.82%, in a table that places it above Jev 1.13 (57.91 / 199). The 35B-A3B scores 61.55 / 210 at about half the 27B’s latency, and the 4B reports DI 52.75 and 26 ms for three questions on one H200. None of the rows were on the official Decision Index board at our 2 Oct check.

How we list it. One family entry at StartLux-Decision, at 5.1 / 7.0 / 5. The non-commercial license lowers availability in the maturity score and sits at the top of the page.
