On 19 September 2026, Mahesh Sathiamoorthy (@madiator, CEO of Bespoke Labs) announced that Bespoke-Nimble-9B — the open LoRA adapter on Qwen3.5-9B — can now process images.

The demo shows a confusing floor plan with bedrooms labeled “Bedrm 1, Bedrm 3, Bedrm 4” (no Bedrm 2). Nimble correctly counts the bedrooms and bathrooms, while the base Qwen model struggles. The author notes: “Jev doesn’t have multimodal support so I didn’t check it.”

This makes Nimble one of the few open System One–style adapters with image input. For comparison:

  • Jev-Omni — open 12B, four modalities (text/image/audio/video)
  • openjev — open, text/image/video
  • Jev — hosted, text-only

UnverifiedClaim: Floor-plan demo (1 example); no multimodal benchmark published yet. (source)
