Sardine says it is building Jev into its fraud platform; a16z panel with TypeSafe's CTO on 4 Nov
publicado (OK do Fabricio 29/10 BRT).
Soups Ranjan, CEO of the fraud-prevention company Sardine, wrote on 28 Oct 2026 (16:37 BRT) that Sardine has started incorporating Jev into its platform. He tested Jev on a real fraud incident at a Sardine customer when it came out.
His numbers (UnverifiedClaim). On that incident Jev reached 93% recall, the velocity rules proposed by Sardine’s data-analyst agent 90%, and an LLM making the same classification 62%. The dataset, its size and precision are not published.
The post also announces “Jev and the Future of Fraud Fighting”, co-hosted by Sardine, a16z and TypeSafe on 4 Nov (17:00–20:30, San Francisco Financial District, registration). TypeSafe CTO Erik Gafni joins Ranjan on a panel moderated by Yoko Li of a16z.
This is a production-adoption signal for Jev in fraud and risk, a field where approve-or-decline calls fit the typed-decision shape.
