HAL-X adds a hosted API for THX-01
HAL-X AI announced a hosted API for THX-01 on 10 October 2026. It exposes the TypeSafe-compatible POST /v1/systemone route and also documents choice, noul, score, number extraction, excerpts and citations. The model remains available as open Apache-2.0 weights and a Python package; this is a hosted-service addition, not a new checkpoint.
Access claim needs clarification. The announcement says the API is free, needs no API key or sign-up, and is limited to 200 decisions per minute per IP. The current HAL-X API reference says every request needs a HAL-X API key with a THX-01 decisions grant; it documents a per-key concurrency limit and does not state the advertised IP quota. We use the API reference for current authentication requirements and leave the keyless access and quota as unverified until HAL-X reconciles the sources.
The 98.4% support-ticket accuracy, 0.003 ECE and roughly 10 ms latency remain HAL-X’s own measurements on its 2,843-ticket set; they were not independently reproduced here. The comparison uses different serving setups, and does not establish general-purpose superiority over Jev.
