Privacy Policy
Last updated:
1. Who operates this Site
modelsystem.one is operated by the Site publisher (the “Publisher”) as an independent informational project. Contact for privacy matters: GitHub Issues atgithub.com/fabricioctelles/modelsystem.
This policy describes processing of personal data under Brazil’s LGPD (Lei 13.709/2018). The Publisher seeks maximum minimization: if a feature can work without personal data, it will.
2. Data we do not collect (by design)
Through ordinary browsing of the static Site, we do not intentionally collect:
- Names, emails, phone numbers, or government IDs
- Account credentials (there are no user accounts)
- Payment data (there are no payments on this Site)
- Precise geolocation
- Advertising profiles or cross-site tracking identifiers controlled by us
- Biometric or sensitive personal data (LGPD Art. 5, II)
3. What may be processed technically
Like any website, standard HTTP access generates transient server or CDN logs (e.g. IP address, user-agent, URL, timestamp) on the hosting provider’s infrastructure. The Publisher does not use such logs to identify individuals and requests that providers apply shortest practical retention consistent with security and abuse prevention.
Analytics: If analytics are enabled in the future, only privacy-preserving tools (preferably cookieless / first-party) will be used, and this policy will be updated before activation. As of the last updated date, no advertising pixels are installed by the Publisher.
GitHub: If you open an issue or pull request, GitHub processes your data underGitHub’s Privacy Statement. That processing is controlled by GitHub, not by this Site’s static pages.
4. Cookies
The Publisher does not set advertising cookies. Essential hosting/CDN cookies may be set by infrastructure providers. Browser language preference is not stored by us as a persistent profile.
5. Legal bases (LGPD Art. 7)
- Legitimate interest (Art. 7, IX) — operating a public informational site and securing infrastructure against abuse, with minimal data.
- Compliance with legal obligation (Art. 7, II) — only if a competent authority issues a valid order.
- Consent (Art. 7, I) — only if we later introduce optional features that require it (we will ask first).
6. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We do not share personal data with advertisers. Processors (hosting/CDN) may process technical logs under their terms solely to deliver the Site.
7. International transfers
Hosting or CDN providers may process technical traffic outside Brazil. Where applicable, transfers rely on the provider’s contractual safeguards. Prefer providers with published privacy terms.
8. Retention
Transient access logs: retained only as long as needed for security/operations by the host. Editorial content on the Site is not personal data about visitors. GitHub issue content follows GitHub retention.
9. Your rights (LGPD Art. 18)
You may request confirmation, access, correction, anonymization, deletion, portability, or information about sharing, and may petition the ANPD. Because ordinary browsing does not create a personal profile on our side, fulfillable requests typically relate only to communications you voluntarily sent (e.g. a GitHub issue you authored).
10. Children
The Site is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
11. Security
We use HTTPS and a static architecture to reduce attack surface. No method of transmission is perfectly secure; you use the Site at your own risk.
12. Limitation related to privacy claims
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Publisher and associated natural persons are not liable for damages arising from third-party processors (host, CDN, GitHub) or from data you voluntarily publish in public issues/PRs.
13. Changes
This policy may change by updating this page. Material changes that introduce new personal data collection will be highlighted by updating the “Last updated” date before those features go live.
14. Contact
Privacy requests:open an issue on GitHub. Do not include sensitive personal data in public issues; ask for a private channel first if needed.
