d3-ultra: vLLM Semantic Router's new 27B lands at #2 on the Decision Index, and d3 reaches Ollama and Tinfoil

vLLM Semantic Router published d3-ultra on Hugging Face (repo created 24 Oct 2026) and Xunzhuo Liu announced it on X on 27 Oct at 00:01 BRT. It is the newest 27B member of Decision 3.0: Apache-2.0, 26.09B parameters, text or JSON plus images and video, and Choice, Yes/No, Score, Box and Track questions answered from one read of the input, with up to 131,072 tokens per question.
What the official board says. The Decision Index 0.4.1 added d3-ultra on 26 Oct (10:27 BRT).

The post’s “#2 of 230, +3.03 over d3” matches the board (70.18 − 67.15). The board also measures ECE 0.067 (d3: 0.043) and a median of 200 ms per row. On the vision board d3-ultra is #11 of 56 (70.59); d3-turbo v1.1 stays the family’s best there (72.46, #2).
Vendor numbers (UnverifiedClaim). The card’s own SR-Text test (10,411 requests, private) puts d3-ultra at 87.2 against GLiDE V1.2 85.1 and Jev 1.14 73.1, and its SR-Box test at 58.2% against d3-turbo’s 60.0%. Neither question set is published, so these are not comparable with public boards.
Distribution. Ollama v0.40.11 (24 Oct) packages the family as d3 in 2B, 4B, 9B and 27B, for text and still images only, with a 4,096-token context. Tinfoil now serves d3, d3-flash and d3-mini as decision-large, decision-medium and decision-small inside secure enclaves (post, 26 Oct); the names are size aliases whose checkpoints may change. NanoGPT lists the 27B route at $0.40 per million input tokens.
Score. The Decision 3.0 page stays scored on d3 27B at 7.0 / 7.6 / 11; it has a new d3-ultra section.
